Remember when the rule of the road on Texas roadways (with signs to remind us) was "Drive friendly"?  I do.

For several years, as our population has grown, and people have moved here and brought their driving habits with them, I've sadly watched a slow degradation in the honoring of that rule.  Evidently I'm not alone, and this is not exclusive to Texas, because on CNN today I read an article about a website, Platewire where one can go and report bad drivers, complete with license number and a description of the offense, and a comments section for discussion. 

So, if you've ever been truly frustrated, annoyed, or even frightened by bad driving (and there's rarely a cop to be seen when this occurs, a sign, to me, anyway, that the bad drivers know they're driving badly and only do it when there's no law enforcement present), you've got a place to go for commiseration, to warn others, and the feeling that you've at least done something about it.

Remember, this is Texas.  Drive Friendly, ya'll!
